Today, this station houses a 2017 107’ Pierce Ascendent Aerial, 2018 Ford F-350 Brush Truck, Reserve 2009 Arrow XT PUC Engine, Reserve Arrow XT 75’ Aerial, Fire Prevention smoke trailer & fleet Maintenance pump testing equipment
Station 28 is in the northern area of Commerce City and surrounds the following neighborhoods; Fronterra Village, Southlawn, Buffalo Highlands, Buffalo Run, Buckley Ranch, Second Creek Farms, USA Airport parking, and the new commercial development on the Tower Road & E470 corridor
We border Brighton Fire to the North, Denver Fire (DIA) to the south and east, and SACFD Station 26 to the west
The wildland team houses there tools and equipment here with Brush 28
Our Community Room is also located at Station 28 which is used for additional meeting space internally and also community organizations can use the space for meetings and events.
