Fire Chief Announcement: December 12, 2024
South Adams County Fire Department is pleased to announce that Robert “Bob” Olme has been selected as our new Fire Chief and will begin serving the district in early February. He has over forty years of experience in fire service and will greatly benefit our department. He joins us from West Metro Fire Protection District, where he has been serving as a Division Chief since 2016. We look forward to sharing more information about Chief Olme in 2025!
Fire Chief Koger will remain with South Adams Fire until March 2025. We want to thank him for his nearly 40 years of service in the district.

The South Adams County Fire Department invites you to a public reception on Tuesday, December 03, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at our Training Center, where you can meet the finalists for the Fire Chief position.
