South Adams County Fire Department Unveils New Logo, Honoring Tradition While Looking Toward the Future

COMMERCE CITY, Colorado — September 8, 2026 — The South Adams County Fire Department (SACFD) is proud to announce the introduction of a new department logo, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization while honoring the proud tradition and history of the firefighters who came before us.

Designed by members of the South Adams County Fire Department, the new logo reflects the department’s identity, values, and commitment to the community. The design brings a modern look to a familiar fire service tradition, representing both where SACFD has been and where the department is headed in the future.

The transition to the new logo will take place gradually over the coming weeks and months. Community members will begin seeing the new logo appear on fire apparatus, equipment, uniforms, facilities, department communications, and other materials as SACFD completes the transition.

“Our new logo represents more than a change in appearance. It represents our continued evolution as a fire department while respecting the history and traditions that built this organization,” said Fire Chief Bob Olme, South Adams County Fire Department. “While our look may be changing, our commitment to protecting and serving our community remains stronger than ever.”

The new logo incorporates traditional fire service elements while providing a refreshed visual identity that represents the department’s continued growth, professionalism, and dedication to the community.

For SACFD, the new logo is not about leaving the past behind, it is about carrying that legacy forward.

Our logo may be new. Our commitment is not.

The South Adams County Fire Department exists to serve and protect those in need through all-hazards emergency response, prevention, and community outreach. SACFD maintains a trained, ready workforce dedicated to preserving community safety and trust and promoting methods to prevent and prepare for future emergencies.

The South Adams County Fire Department thanks the community for its continued trust and support and looks forward to serving South Adams County residents for generations to come.
